We’ve all heard the saying “the early bird catches the worm.” In the case of the ASJA 2024 Conference registration, being extra early means you get an extra special deal!
ASJA’s online “Conference from Anywhere” takes place Sept. 24 to 26, and Client Connections 2024 – A Virtual Event! runs Sept. 26 and 27.
Registration for the conference is open now. Sign up before July 19 to receive the Extra Early Bird rate of $199 for members and $275 for nonmembers for three days of top-notch programming that can take your freelance writing career to the next level.
ASJA 2024 Conference registration fees
In the past year, ASJA members have been incredibly supportive of the organization through an important and necessary period of change. As a thank you for that commitment, ASJA is offering the best possible pricing – one of the lowest the organization has ever offered for a full three-day conference, virtual or in person!
Not only that, ASJA professional members in good standing who sign up for the conference can register for Client Connections 2024 for only $69.
Registration is available for the full three-day conference only. Here’s the full registration fee schedule:
- Extra Early Bird rate, July 8 to 19: $199 for members, $275 for nonmembers
- Early Bird rate, July 20 to Sept. 3: $249 for members, $299 for nonmembers
- Regular rate, Sept. 4 to 20: $299 for members, $349 for nonmembers
- Late registration, after Sept. 20: $349 for members, $399 for nonmembers
- Client Connections: $69 bundled with 2024 conference registration, $129 Client Connections only. Registration for Client Connections 2024 runs through 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, Aug. 30, and the Client Connections lottery opens Thursday, Sept. 5.
All conference registration fees include access to three keynotes, sessions in all tracks, ASJA networking celebration and business meeting, informal networking, and access to all recorded events after the fact. The ASJA 2024 conference features three trendsetting keynote speakers:
Krishan Trotman, author and founder of Hachette Book Group’s Legacy Lit imprint
Peter Shankman, serial entrepreneur, founder of the new Source of Sources service, and long-time freelance supporter
David W. Brown, Temple University assistant dean and communications professor, award-winning speaker, author, student advisor, columnist, and part-time pastor.

Conference platform, scholarships, and more
The ASJA 2024 conference and Client Connections 2024 will take place online on the Airmeet platform. In addition to hosting keynotes, webinar-type sessions, and Client Connections networking meetups, Airmeet allows attendees to gather and chat informally at virtual “tables” before and after scheduled events.
