The daughter of an American father and a Swedish mother, I was raised bilingual and bicultural in greater Boston and the Stockholm area. I currently divide my time between both places and also lived in Seattle, Washington, for many years. I publish my own website about Scandinavia, have served as a Scandinavia cultural specialist aboard expedition cruises in the region, and have been leading tours all over the world as a freelance tour manager for 20 years. In addition, I’m also fluent in Spanish and hold degrees in environmental and Latin American studies.
