Read
This inspirational, first-person, true story tells how a wild goshawk helped me relax and restored my spirit during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Exciting stories. Fun facts. Intriguing photos. You'll find all this in Animals in Action, a collection of five true animal tales appearing both as text and as an audio file. You will enjoy learning about a wild turkey who adopted a town, a cat who convicted a killer, and a chipmunk trapped in a wall. There are also stories about wild animals who asked humans for help and an independent cat who regularly rode a train all on her own. Included with each story are "Transfer to Teaching" pages full of great ideas for teachers to use in the classroom. The Kindle Interactive edition has an audio of Aline Newman reading her Minutes aloud, thus making the content available to all readers.
