If you ghosted or partnered on a book that you’re tickled about, submit it for consideration to the 2025 Andy Awards for excellence in nonfiction book collaborations.
Submissions are open through Dec. 31, 2024.
Now in their second year, the Andy Awards are the first-ever honors to recognize excellence in collaborations between authors and paid contributors, including ghostwriters. The Andy Awards are cosponsored by ASJA and Gotham Ghostwriters, the New York ghostwriting agency.
The initial Andy Awards elicited positive publicity, including coverage in Publishers Marketplace and The New York Times.
Three Categories for Awards
The award is given in three categories:
- Business and thought leadership
- Memoir and narrative nonfiction
- Prescriptive nonfiction
To be eligible, both the author and paid collaborator must joint submit a book for consideration and agree to share the award.
To be considered, books must be published between July 1, 2023, and Dec. 31, 2024. Find out more about the 2025 Andy Awards and enter a submission here. The full eligibility guidelines can be found here.
